Before establishing our practice, our team was part of Colliers International Poland where for nine years we completed more than 300 hotel mandates. Hotel Professionals was a necessary transition in order for us to offer new exciting and innovative services to the hotel market not only in Poland but throughout the CEE region. Hotel Professionals continues on servicing our previous clients with Colliers International not only in Poland but throughout the CEE region, as well as other Consulting Real Estate Agencies across Poland.

Managing Partner

Alex Kloszewski, the former Managing Director of the InterContinental Hotels in Poland & Czech Republic, the previous Head of the Hospitality Department and Partner in Colliers International Poland is now the Managing Partner of Hotel Professionals.

Alex Kloszewski has been connected with the hotel and hospitality sector since 1973. He started his professional carrier in the United States where he used to work in the Marriott Hotels & Resorts. Alex Kloszewski also worked with Radisson Hotels, Wyndham Hotels International in cities Los Angeles, Dallas, San Antonio, New Orleans, Aruba and Szczecin, and most recently as the General Manager was responsible for the 5-star InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw.

In 2002, Alex founded the Warsaw Destination Alliance, an organization dedicated to promoting Warsaw internationally and developing local tourism. The WDA members include all of the important 5-star hotels in Warsaw, as well as conference venues, PKiN, EXPO, Warsaw Chopin airport, airlines, art galleries, museums, city and local organizations and sports venues i.e. National Stadium and Stadium of Legia and major corporates serving the hospitality industry such as Coca Cola, SAB Miller, Martini Rossi and Makro.

In April 2011 Alex Kloszewski also became the co-founder and vice president of the Warsaw Tourist organization. After 9 years with Colliers International in Poland, Alex, together with the rest of the members of the Colliers Hospitality Department opened an independent hotel advisory company – Hotel Professionals. The new entity was a necessary transfer in order to be able to extend our scope of services to include hotel management support.

Guy Simmons

Guy Simmons has been actively involved in the hospitality sector since 1974. His professional career spans the East and West coast of the United States, the Caribbean as well as Central & Eastern Europe. Guy previously worked for private and public entities managing their hotels under global brands such as DoubleTree by Hilton, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Radisson SAS (now Radisson Blu).

In 1992 Guy began his European hospitality carrier arriving in Szczecin Poland as a member of the Radisson Hotel Szczecin opening team. Guy then moved to Moscow, Russia to become part of the Radisson Slavjanskaya Hotel management team.

His European career continued when he transferred back to Poland to join Alex in the opening of three Holiday Inns in the country, including the Holiday Inn Kraków, Gdańsk and Wrocław. Guy later joined Alex in the opening of the iconic InterContinental Warsaw Hotel.

In the years 2005 – 2007, Guy was the Director of Operations for Domina Hotels and Resorts for Northern and Eastern Europe where he travelled extensively throughout Russia and Ukraine. From 2008 – 2011 Guy was part of Colliers’ Hospitality Department in Poland, where he was in charge of key international clients. Since his tenure in Colliers, Guy managed the construction and pre-opening activities of first the DoubleTree by Hilton in Wawer and then the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the Kraków Airport.

Jacek Tokarski (MRICS)

Jacek Tokarski as Hotel Professionals’s Chief Operating Officer is responsible for preparing the hotel financial analyses for the company. Together with the other members of the team, Jacek analyzes the profitability of hotel investments for our clients. Jacek is also the lead in conducting the due diligence side of our hotel brokerage services. Jacek has worked on transaction projects such as the LIM Center/Marriott Warsaw Hotel, Holiday Inn Gdańsk and Wrocław and Grand Hotel Łódź. Furthermore, Jacek coordinates the brand acquisition process for hotel investors and owners. Jacek also works closely with external entities in producing our valuation services.

From 2004 to 2012 Jacek worked for the multi-national company Colliers International starting as a financial analyst for the Office Department and then was promoted to investment analyst in Colliers Poland’s Investment Department. During his time with the investment department, Jacek supported Alex’s activities periodically where he became passionate about the hotel industry. For his last eight years with the company Jacek worked for the Hospitality Department as the Investment Analyst.

Magda Konaszewska apart from being an integral part in realizing orders is also responsive for the administrative side of the business. Magda manages the entire customer relationship process from start to finish. Magda also plays a major role in executing our services by preparing market studies, research and investment memorandums in Polish.

Magda gained her experience through working closely with the best specialists in the field, being part of the Hospitality team at Colliers International Poland where she worked for over seven years. During this time, Magda took part in in countless deals associated with our hotel real estate services in Poland and in Europe.

Patrick Kloszewski

Patrick Kloszewski is responsible for preparing our in-depth hotel market studies, feasibility studies and memorandums. Patrick also manages our relationships with foreign investors as well as international hotel chains and operators.

Patrick, being the son of a hotelier, from an early age lived in many hotels throughout the world. In his late teens and early twenties, Patrick worked in several hotel departments in order to understand the business from the ground up.

Patrick’s hotel real estate experienced started in Colliers International Poland, where for over 6 years he took part in numerous hotel real estate mandates including feasibility studies, hotel brand acquisitions, operational reviews and due diligence.

Przemysław Wiraszka

Transaction Manager

Przemysław Wiraszka is a Transaction Manager at Hotel Professionals and plays an integral part in the preparation of hotel investment feasibility studies, market studies and financing reports. Przemysław is a Warsaw School of Economics graduate and holds an MBA from Koźmiński University.

Przemysław has over 10 years of real estate market experience working in financial departments of various real estate developers in Poland. In 2007 Przemek worked as a Financial Analyst in Magnus Group where he was responsible for financial reporting and project investment analysis. In 2009 he joined Rezydent S.A. – owner of the Radisson Blu in Gdańsk (among other properties), where he served as the financial controller and identified new potential investment projects for the group. Przemysław transferred to Xcity Investment in 2015 as Project Manager where he coordinated the preparation, realization, and commercialization of several investment projects.

Patrycja Koszewska

Patrycja became part of the Hotel Professionals team in August 2015. Her responsibilities include gathering data on the hotel market and preparing market reports, investment memorandums, as well as preparing offers for Clients. She’s also responsible for maintaining contact with the media and developing the company’s marketing strategy.

Patrycja completed her MA studies at the University of Warsaw defending her thesis in the field of Urban Sociology. She began her experience with the real estate market at Colliers International Poland where she worked in the Administration department, as well as cooperated with the Development Advisory Services department. Patrycja also enjoys engaging actively in the MICE segment.

Katarzyna Stiller-Romanowska

Katarzyna is primarily responsible for coordinating the pre-opening and opening process of hotels managed by the company. In addition to that, Katarzyna supports the board of directors and general directors of individual hotels on all current operational, administrative and HR issues, as well as developing hotel budgets and marketing and sales plans.

Katarzyna has been involved in the hotel industry for 16 years. During this time, she actively developed her experience and knowledge in international hotel chains such as InterContinental Hotels Group, Accor Hotels, IBB Hotels and Hilton Worldwide. In addition, Katarzyna worked as a consultant for the Hospitality team in Colliers International’s consulting firm, from which Hotel Professionals originated.

Jerzy Podeszewski

Jerzy joined Hotel Professionals Management Group in May 2018 as Director of Asset and Hotel Management.

Jerzy has been engaged in the hotel business for over 25 years. He began his career in 1992 in Szczecin where for 7 years he served as Banquet and Conference Department Manager at the 4-star Radisson SAS hotel. In the following years Jerzy was connected with multiple hotels, both globally branded and unaffiliated facilities, including hotels of the Holiday Inn brand in Kraków and Katowice, the InterContinental hotel in Warsaw, the andel’s hotel in Kraków, SPA Dr Irena Eris Wzgórza Dylewskie, or Baltic Plaza Hotel MediSPA & fit in Kołobrzeg. Before joining HPMG, for the second time Jerzy held the position of General Director at Grand Hotel Rzeszów.

Damian Konaszewski

Damian is responsible for supervising the standards in hotel facilities managed by the Hotel Professionals Group company as well as supporting General Directors and directors of particular departments in operational matters. Moreover, Damian actively participates during every stage of the hotel pre-opening process.

Damian began gaining his experience in 2008 in London where he worked for one of Great Britain’s leaders in the hospitality sector – the BaxterStory company, taking on the position of the manager’s assistant in the main hospitality department. He had the opportunity to work and develop his competencies with the best hospitality specialists in Great Britain. Damian also coordinated day-to-day operations of the conference center of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, a former ministerial department of the United Kingdom Government.

Is responsible for coordinating and supporting the pre-opening and opening stages of the managed hotel’s marketing and social media strategies.

Simmoney also helps organise all events and marketing promotions for the managing hotels.
Simmoney started her career in the film industry, where she helped coordinate international film productions and events for 6 years.After leaving London, she moved back to her home country to begin her career in hospitality

Malgorzata joined Hotel Professionals team in March 2019. 

She supports her colleagues with conducting market reports, preparing feasibility studies and financial analysis as well as investment memorandums for our clients. 
Małgorzata graduated from Warsaw School of Economics where she studied Finance & Accounting as well as International Business. She also joined the Transekonomik Student Exchange Programme - she attended to the Finance & Marketing classes in the Wroclaw University of Economics.

Before joining HP team, Malgorzata was a Junior Analyst in CBRE Hotels Poland where she was responsible for preparing feasibility studies, conducting market research in a hotel operator selection process and for current administrative and financial team issues.

Monika Woźniak

Junior Analyst

Monika joined the HP team in July 2019. Monika is responsible for developing Feasibility Studies and Investment Memorandums, preparing forecasts and financial analyzes of hotel projects.

Monika graduated from the first degree of studies in the field of Investments and Real Estate at the University of Gdańsk. Currently she is studying Management at the Kozminski University. She gained her first experience in the industry working in the audit department in Deloitte as an Intern, auditing the financial statements of capital companies.
