Kraków Airport Hotel, part of the John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice capital group, has signed a franchise agreement with Accor for a TRIBE hotel. This follows the letter of intent signed in March this year. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2030. The company will develop and operate the hotel itself, under the Accor brand and standards.
Hotel Professionals has advised the investor from the start of the project. We prepared the feasibility study, led the brand selection process and supported the investor in the franchise agreement negotiations.
This is the second hotel on which we have supported Kraków Airport Hotel. We also advised the company on its first property, the Hilton Garden Inn Kraków Airport. For TRIBE, the key was to plan the standard, profile and offer of the new hotel, and to choose the brand, so that the two hotels complement each other as well as possible.
TRIBE Kraków Airport will be built right next to the airport terminal. It will offer 170 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness area, business space and parking. It will be the second TRIBE hotel in Poland, after TRIBE Kraków Old Town, which opened in September 2025.
The location will give the hotel a steady flow of guests. In 2025, Kraków Airport handled a record 13.25 million passengers and, according to ACI, was the fastest-growing large airport in the European Union (10–25 million passengers a year). Once the terminal expansion is complete, the airport will be able to handle up to 20 million passengers a year.
