Autograph Collection in Branicki Palace Warsaw

In October 2016, the investor – Budizol company, represented by Hotel Professionals sp. z o.o., concluded the first in Poland franchise agreement for the Autograph Collection brand with Marriott International. The investment is based on the adaptation of historic buildings of the Branicki and Szaniawski Palace into a unique and directed towards the most demanding guests hotel product.

The construction of a new hotel from the Marriott International hotel chain portfolio has commenced. The hotel is developed at the very heart of Warsaw’s Old Town.

Autograph Collection Hotels is a family of luxury hotels part of the Marriott International hotel chain, in which all hotels have an individual and unique character. Autograph Collection Hotels is a soft brand. Every Autograph Collection hotel is a one-of-a-kind and exclusive product – an iconic hotel, offering services at the highest level. Warsaw’s representative of the Autograph Collection brand in the Branicki Palace will also be an exceptional product. Located at Miodowa street, in the immediate vicinity of the Royal Palace and Sigismund's Column, the Autograph hotel will greet its first guests in the first half of 2021, offering ca. 100 rooms, diverse conference space with a total area of over 1000 sqm., a SPA zone and rich gastronomic offer.

“The Branicki and Szaniawski Palace is a place with an extremely rich history dating back to the beginning of the XVII century. While creating a hotel in a historic fabric, we want to expose the unique character of the building as well as prepare an interesting and uncompromising offer for the modern Traveler.

The baroque palaces by Miodowa street require a thorough renovation. We want to restore the splendor of not only the interiors and the building’s elevation, but also develop three courtyards overlooking the Old Town. It is worth emphasizing that a structure with such an extensive exterior zone is unique within the city limits. By introducing various functions, we want to fully open this area to future visitors.

Parallelly with revitalization works, we are committed to providing innovative solutions and technologies. That is why, for example, we want to introduce mobile ceilings in the conference area, which will allow connecting space on two floors, or at later stages, we want to provide our Guests with access to many functions connected with hotel amenities via their smartphones.

We truly hope that such a combination will be appreciated by our Guests, which we will greet in the first half of 2021.” – comments Karolina Stanisławska-Balcerzak, the Project Director at Budizol.

From the very beginning of the planning phase, Budizol was supported by the Hotel Professionals advisory company, who assisted the investor in preparing the hotel concept and in the selection process of the hotel brand, as well as represented the investor in negotiating business terms of the franchise agreement.

“We believe that the hotel market in Warsaw is mature enough to successfully absorb another hotel positioned in the luxury segment, which the Autograph hotel, will undoubtfully be. The exceptional location of the hotel at the heart of Warsaw’s Old Town, the historic character of the Branicki Palace, being part of the Marriott International chain, as well as an attractive concept and offer are key qualities determining the success of this investment. – comments Alex Kloszewski, Managing Partner at Hotel Professionals sp. z o.o.
